Golf Lessons

Hey guys! I will be giving golf lessons again this year on a limited basis at the Pleasant View Golf Center in Somers, CT. It is a very relaxed place to go, and they have a great grass hitting area and many different targets to aim at. I work with people of all abilities from scratch golfers to beginners who have never held a club before! My rates are below:


1/2 Hour Lesson         $40 (includes range balls)
1 Hour Lesson             $75 (includes range balls)
Juniors (ages 3-15)    *HALF PRICE - Full Rate*


My teaching philosophy is very simple. Fundamentals are key. People have very different physical abilities and I work with each individual to obtain the perfect swing for them! I believe in keeping it fun and positive and reinforce the fact that this is a game we play, and it should be thought of that way!

Chicopee Country Club

I would like to send a big thank you out to the great people at Chicopee Country Club. Tom DiRico and his staff have welcomed the Holyoke Community College golf team with open arms. We have enjoyed our time practicing and playing this great course. If you get a chance, stop by for a round. They have some awesome deals on golf and lunch packages. The course is in great shape, the staff is very friendly, and the pace of play is always smooth!

Zurich Classic of New Orleans

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans starts this week. There are a lot of great players in the field. Im going to make a prediction that Nick Watney wins the tournament. I think it may come down to a battle between him and the number three player in the world, Luke Donald.  

It's so much fun to watch Bubba Watson play golf! He's playing as well this week and he should be one to watch for. I feel like Bubba is the kind of player that the tour needs in the absence of Tiger. He's a risk taker. 

Last years champion, Jason Bohn, is eager to get out and defend his title. The TPC course sets up well for him, and I look for him to at least make the cut.

Crumpin-Fox Club

Headed over to Crump today to play with some good friends of mine. It's finally warm out, hopefully it doesn't rain. The course was in great shape when we played it the other day. It was a little wet, but they had snow on the course as late as last week, so who can complain!?
