While Tiger is out with injuries, Steve Williams will caddie for Adam Scott at this year's US Open Championship. I can't blame him. He has to keep busy as well. Adam Scott and Tiger have a lot of similarities. This should be a very easy transition for Williams.
Already, the critics are starting to talk about how "Tiger and Stevie are splitting up" or that they are getting a "divorce." I don't think this is fair to either one of them. I'm almost sure the two of them have discussed this in full, and have both come to the conclusion that this is a good thing for Steve. It will keep him sharp and focused on the game of golf, while at the same time helping out another top ranked golfer.
Adam Scott has always had the talent to win a US Open and maybe this year with Williams on the bag, he will do just that. How can you not cheer the two of them on?
Should be an exciting championship!
